Default Anybody have nose mask AND grill?

I have the 2piece colgan nose mask in carbon fiber and absolutely love it, use it only on road trips to keep bugs and rocks from destroying my fisher-price quality paint... I've been wanting to get a grill to protect my radiator too, but am afraid it will not work with the mask, as the mask has three small clips that clip behind the stock lip in the lower part of the grill. So, does anybody know of a way around this or of a grill that works with the mask? Thanks.

yes i have the nissan mask with the grille-tech grille. i protects nicely and its also better because the grill doesnt ever touch your paint. the nose mask cushions it where it meets. i used 3 small black zip strips to hold on the grill. keeps bugs out good

Wow, thanks for the quick response! I am, however, confused by what you mean that it cushions it where they touch... can you still remove the mask easily or is it a major PITA?

no, i had to put on the mask first, because it clips inside the grill area, then put the aluminum grill on next. it still mounts flush. you have to take the grill off first then the mask if you want to remove it. its not hard though with zip strips, you just cut them. i used black zip strips to kinda match the mask. i can probably send you a picture if you want later if you are still confused
