wow the car is ricey! Also I think this ruins the structural support of the car as well. but kuddos for having a sunroof i guess lol.

way to ricey for my taste too, but i thought the sunroof was pretty sweet.. i think it would look much better if it was much bigger.

adding targa top/sunroof on a Z ruins the rigidity...so why do it?

It's probably not easy, but you could gain some of that rigidity back with some new supports. I'd love a targa top

wow.. thats a terrible sunroof.. i was thinking of doing the webasto.. that looks like a straight up 99 dollar special mini truck sunroof... luh huh huvley.
Tons of threads on the far better webasto sunroof using search btw.

webasto is the way to go for sure. i wanna say ive read you can get product, install and warranty for 1k. not bad imo. also webasto comes factory in most(if not all) gm vehicles with sunroof.

Although I don't like the roof much either I don't think the car looks too ricey....just a bit.

A friend of mine bought an 05 PPW grand touring that had a sunroof installed. His looks good, but the one in the OP looks very poorly executed.

He should of had the roof painted black. It would have flowed and looked a lot better!
+1 for Targa top. I would trade my Nismo in for a new Z with a factory Targa.

When I got my '05 350z a couple of months ago, we kept our '87 300zx because we'd miss the t-tops.
