Default Nismo Leather Shift **** - Hot in the sun?

Looking to get a new shift know so I don't burn my hand on the stock shift **** all summer. Can anyone who has the Nismo leather shift **** comment on how hot that piece up top gets and how fast it cools down? Any other suggestions for shift ***** that don't get too hot and fit well?

I've never had a problem with mine ever being too hot. I think only the metal ones get hot

Got any links to sites selling covers? About all I could find were pink covers and Hello Kitty covers. Not exactly the look I'm going for with my Z.
