My 08 Touring to Nismo v3 Transformation

That's only if you have the interest to hit the track and compete
On the other hand, they don't look that ugly to me. I was about to do the exact same setup except the hood and the rear bumper, but backed out coz it would cost me at least $5k for front bumper + sides + spoiler + canards + wheel arc lips, and that still without shipping which most probably will cost my around $1.5k

Unarguable is the fact that they are in common use on track vehicles whose operators would not install any modification not considered to improve the performance of their vehicle. Recreational car modifiers could successfully argue that they garner the same benefits, albeit perhaps to a lesser extent as their track counterparts, distinguishing this modification from purely cosmetic modifications (referred to as "Ricing" in popular car culture).

I love that you budgeted the transformation right from the start to use only the best OEM pieces and to get a solid paint job. Best of luck with the project.

What he is saying is.... It will always be a touring!
Sure you can buy the authentic body kit, but do you really believe that makes it a Nismo? I suppose you could buy the strut bars, yamaha/nismo dampers, springs, a badge off a totalled Nismo & a used or new HKS nismo muffler and claim it's a Nismo.
Even then it won't have the additional chassis welds. But hey it's a Nismo. lol
At what point can one really call it a Nismo?

Lakeside...I get it but that's just stupid. Whoooptiiee do. "NISMO" Who gives a fawk. I bought the touring edition because I knew I was going to replace everything on the car so why spend the extra money for all the "NISMO" stuff. Call it whatever you want but it's still a factory oem nismo v3 bodykit at the end of the day.

Yes for now he is faster then I, But I have a TT stage II build estimate here. I just need to commit. Ughhh I have commitment issues. Now I have my eyes on a Cobalt boat. I think I would get more use out of the boat honestly, I drive my car 3-4kmi a year.
For the OP, Nismo's are pretty cheap. Even a couple years ago they could be had for $32K-34K new out the door. Now you can find low mileage one's for Mid 20's.
I can imagine the V3 body kit and hardware + paint is not cheap. I understand going this route, especially with all that is invested in the car. No sense parting it out. I don't blame you.

Lakeside, it's all good man. I don't care that I am faster than you. Who gives a fawk. ITOzann...you stupid noob...lol. At the time I was buying my Touring there was a nice black nismo but they wanted 42K for it plus taxes. I tried to talk them down and they no. So I said...Yeah, I don't like the bodykit anyways and if I am going to be replacing all the stuff on it why even bother. So that's why I got the touring. If I could go back in time I would have waiting and got the nismo because I had a change of heart on the kit.
