Default Front Plate Help

Hey Z drivers. I got my Z about 6 months ago and the owner before me had put a plate holder that actually goes in my tow hook. Well my plate came loose and now i dont know how to remove the actual plate holder. He said "it goes where the tow hook goes" I just want to remove it. Do i have to remove the front bumper? Any help? Thank You

You shouldn't have to remove the bumper. The tow hook unscrews from a threaded hole on the aluminum frame behind the bumper at the top of the grill opening. You'll need a plastic piece to fill in the top crossbar in the grill opening when the plate holder is removed.

IIRC, there are instructions in the rear of the car where the tools are located for installing the tow hook. Those should help.
