I like the rust comment... seeing that the hood is aluminum.
Keep an eye on that shingle silicone. Would hate to see it get too hot and start to drip.
I was very worried my self about the silicone but so far its been great. Though i'd recommend using something else in-place of the silicone i used because it was messy and hard to work with. Thanks for the advise though.

Really? Looks like it would be pretty easy for water to work it's way up into the spark plug wells. Had that happen to my Supra and I'd be running on 4-5 cylinders until either it dried out or I mopped it up. I didn't have holes in my hood either.

OEM hood, OEM color , with vents cut into it to allow extra cooling. What is wrong with that. Its not like he spent $700 for a CF hood that probably weights more than stock then left it mismatched to the paint of his car for extra rice points with honda kids.
Extra cooling is something is need, i live in an area of 120 degree days with no humidity. Humid air cools a lot better than dry air.

Does it actually help with cooling at all or just more of a look?? I do like it alot! i think ide just do a little different set up with deffernt vent styles and locations though.. Maybe one by the air filter not sure if that would help at all though lol

Honestly it definetly helps with keeping the engine cool. the reason it helps is because the vents are positioned around a slight bend on the front of the hood, so when driving some air is forced into the engine and cools it slightly (mainly by forcing out hot air. Also after a race the heat from the engine escapes through the vents and doesn't keep heat trapped in engine compartment like the oem one. I wasn't a fan of the location of the vents at first either but unless you cut out most of the support beams if not all of them then it has to be positioned in the place i have them.

I tried it, but after adhering it to the hood and so it wasn't possible without breaking the mesh. the only way to do that is to set it up before u adhere it and trust me, it's a lot easier said than done.

I wass told by other members that the engine would be fine even if i ran no hood in the rain, so i actually did take off my stock hood and ran it through the rain and had no problems. So i'm not worried, thanks for the concern.

They are lined up to the mm but the corners had to be done free hand so they might be a mm off hear or there, nothing really noticable.

Thanks everyone for the support. Im looking for a new DIY project now. Let me know of any good DIY's. I might change all the interior LED's to blue but idk yet.
