Cool I see your point... Some of the guys in the other thread mentioned non carbon fiber hoods that were lighter( or as light) than the factory hood but they got the same response.
OEM hood, OEM color , with vents cut into it to allow extra cooling. What is wrong with that. Its not like he spent $700 for a CF hood that probably weights more than stock then left it mismatched to the paint of his car for extra rice points with honda kids.
Extra cooling is something is need, i live in an area of 120 degree days with no humidity. Humid air cools a lot better than dry air.

im going for a full nismo v2 (RS Concept) replica look...
does any one know the specs/measurements of the hood cut outs? i know i could cut a couple slits and no one would know, but i want to be a lil more spot on... like how far up on the hood, how wide, thickness of cuts and space between cuts?
