i didn't do it myself. a body shop did it, but its an inexpensive thing to do, and you could get nice new paint.

Why does a body shop replace a bumper cover rather than patch the damaged one?

This question has been addressed a dozen times.

plastic filler and a repaint is what i would do. four offset bumper plugs wont look good sorry.
