i wonder why i am the only one who can post in there? forums rules say for a group buy a forum sponser has to pick it up. So i had to start a thread there in order to get this rolling. But i have yet to see anything yet. i guess this is about 2 years to late. but i hope we can make it happen.

if its in the marketplace, users arent allowed to post in those threads unless they have 500+ posts or I think have been registered for, 40-50 days? Correct me if im wrong on the day count.

Everyone who has a Shine bumper loves it and is around the same 450 cost. So why go with this V2?

because the shine is a smiley face and they want the exact look of a 2 without paying an arm and leg. so why would you want a more expensive untested v2 again? because you can buy this now for less than 400 and not wait.

so to reiderate my deleted point; 435$ is too much for a bumper made of anything BUT real carbon fiber. this poly bumper at 435$ will drive up the cost of other PU bumpers which is BAD for the market. the price shouyld be no more than 300$ due to the FACT that all bumpers cost the same to make, asumming common designs and matterials.

so my PU bumper (below) fit 110% perfect from ebay for 135$ shipped! how can anyone justify paying 450! it needs to be around 300 sorry. heres the pic of my 135 bumper. this(the co that made my bumper) could make a v2 for the same price if they TRIED. it would not ever be 435$.

#1 you are showing a stock bumper #2 i wany my car slammed again. don't matter if its a shine, ait, or other brand. if its fiberglass on a low car its going to crack. #3 they have to make the mold for this, which is not cheap. #4 wings west has been around a long time and they are still going after so many years so i can't imagine a company that would produce crap would still be in business. Thats why i hope a forums sponser will try to get this rolling. Also why bash my thread, it has been gauged in the past and I decided to find out since no one has ever went anywhere.

If wings west would step up to make the whole kit, then I would be game (if it's not outrageously priced). Kind of defeats the purpose of having a urethane bumper if you're stuck with fiberglass side skirts and rear bumper. The one and old experience I've had with WW was awesome. Didn't have to modify anything to get the kit to fit like a glove.

no and no, the ebay bumpers ARE a direct fit and do NOT need modification. check my pic. its the CHEAPEST bumper you can buy on ebay and it fit PERFECT and instal takes 5minutes yourself. i am sure the more expensive versions fit just as well. just clearin up the rumors.

You are showing an oem style bumper not the Nismo V2 we are talking about.

Just because a vendor sells one bumper that has certain characteristics does not mean a different one will have those characteristics.

I did not read the entire eBay auction you posted BUT the ones I have seen say they may not fit and must have professional installation. That imho is done to stop people getting returns due to poor fitment.

Are you interested in this bumper? If not why are you posting in this thread?

read the middle of the ebay link i posted then next to the green bumper it describes the fitment and flexability. no need for a full PU version. buy the ait now.
yes i am going to buy one eventually to change up the look of my car when i want. again 5 min switch. heres a post i started asking about good aftermarket v2s and rear bumpers.
https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-an...y-fitment.html
i got no real responses, meaning the problem is not the lack of manufactuers its the lack of knowledge of quality, and where to buy, by consumers.
i dont want a bumper to be made at a high price, get a lot of publicity, and raise the price of all the other bumpers for our cars regardless of the style. if everyone is happy paying 450 for this the co. i bought my bumper from for 135 will know people would still be getting a great deal (comparatively) at 250. soon enough every bumper manufacturer raises their price by 100$. how about getting 20ppl in on the deal at 325$ instead of 10 at 450? i am helping the market by thrashing this price. get it?
