Yeah I don't know exactly what paint code he went with but the paint I went with is a bit darker

If I remember correctly Rubicant's paint had some blue pearl in the clear and can be seen in the sun. Pics taken from his thread.

heres another small update, sorry the pics are crappy (iphone cell pics) didn't have my dslr that day.

Paint came off looking really dark in these pics, bad lighting + cell pics i guess

Quick teaser pic of the finished paintjob, lighting in "the orleans" casino parking garage was lacking . New Wheels and Coilovers will be on in about a month (Sold the nismo Lmgt4s, so rolling on stockers/herrasunk status for now til then)

Some subtle things will still need to be done, as the hood will be painted as well. Then a proper photo shoot will be taken. thanks all

Wheels will make or break that paint job, also, those headlights are a sore thumb too, but I really like the color, I wanted to paint my 240sx battleship grey. I can't wait to see the FINAL product

 

Me likey!!! Not diggin the tails and headlights. Smoked tails??? maybe? I dunno. In for updates with rims and slammed.

agreed, wheels type and color were chosen compliment the paint, as for the headlight upgrade to 06+ headlights are the list for upcoming mods.
I know alot of people don't like the look of the jdm clear tails on my350z I;ve always liked them regardless. I'll see when my is set-up done if I want to switch to 06+tails or smoking the tails or not.

normally i think silvers are a bit boring but i like this a lot. i think this will be one of my fav Z's when it gets rims.

 

think he means, for all the work done and color change. side emblems should have been removed car painted and emblems reinstalled.
taped off properly, cant see under there anyway.
