Thanks everyone for the kind comments; i'll try to take post some more pix asap.
incidentally, the smoked tailights dont seem to inhibit the the light output that much. i was pretty shocked that they were so dark but then lit up they are pretty bright! the difference is negligible. I'm not sure how they did it but it's genius i say. i'll take some pix with the lights engaged too.

As for powdercoating the rims black, i thought of it but right now im gonna stick to the bronze as it's what i had in mind for a long time (chalk it up to my childhood dream car- 70's pontiac firebird with the gold phoenix painted on the hood, everything black/gold, or how about the lotus JPS formula one cars of the day)
plus i live in the bay area, home to george lucas and a bunch of foofie star wars fanatics. i dont want to be identified as a rolling darth vader helmet.

I like it very much. The exhaust should be stock, not black, IMO. But the blacked out tail lights look really great. Nice job!

I like much. Been thinking about doing something similar to my super black. It appears you painted the door handles? What ya do to the emblems - remove? Are the lights overlayed or painted?

SF Bay area huh? I think you stole this idea off my 300zx!

He he, just kiddin about stealing the idea, but nonetheless, I had a black 1990 300zx n/a coupe with limo tint, powdercoated stock rims, wings west body kit (black), blacked out front grill, etc. It was a sweet car - and I know for a fact having a solid black car saved me from more than 1 or 2 tickets at night. The silly pigs couldn't see me!

I think thatd actually be cool; always wanted to just tune a car all the way; like 600hp or more; so it could safely take anything.

then rice it out to the hilt heh. the sleeper of all sleepers!

not saying the all black is rice tho; it looks awesome of course.

Default some more pix #1

well it's raining here in SF so i've just taken some in the garage. . .

looking at them i realize i ought to get a shorty antenna.
i'm waiting for some spacers to be made so that the rear wheel track will be increased by 1" on each side. the fenders will have to be rolled to accomodate.
i think black housing and removing/smoking the amber strip would complete the look. i'll keep posting as it comes along!

as far as making it even more powerful, i'll have to wait a bit on that. frankly i'm not that great of a driver yet, the stock power will suffice until i earn my chops. i would surely crash or some other fruitless mishap. as it is it seems to eat everything on the street at will.

thnaks everyone!

I would suggest no exterior CF. Leave as is with the addition of the bronzed wheels. It looks great!

If CF necessary keep it to the interior.

I'm not a big CF fan, but I think that a blacked out car can pull it off better than a Redline or a Sunset or any of the other colors for that matter.

If your going to get a new anttena you should consider an interior antenna. It will complete the smooth blacked out look. Stay away from CF for the exterior. I think some CF on the rear sway bar would look nice, especially if your going to go CF for the interior and the engine.
...... What color interior do you have? Im not sure how good CF would look with the tan leather?? (if thats what u have?) If you have black interior I woulndt even think twice about the CF.

This was my plan if i had gotten the Super Black. I hope you consider it =)

ps take off the amber strip on the head light? either go all clear or smoke out the strip.

your car is gonna look HOT!!!
