Front spoiler
Personally, I think the 350Z would look worlds better with a front lip (apparently sometimes referred to as a half-spoiler). I think it would look good paired with a Stillen Type 1 spoiler.
Poking around on japanparts.com, there seem to be quite a few. Which of these do you like? (Pics are linked from the site, and prices are rough approximations from the site, variation due to different materials. I am not affiliated with japanparts.com and I have no idea how good/bad they are. Hope they don't mind ).
I'm diggin the Veilside and the C-west. And the kei office, whatever that is. Veilside is urethane, C-west is FRP, PFRP or CFRP (not sure...guessing fiberglass, ??, carbon fiber), and Kei office is FRP.
Nismo, incl bumper $765
C-West $267-512
kei office (?) entire bumper. I think it looks pretty sweet. Not only that, this is the color combo and wheels I want (PPW w/ bronze TE37s. ANyone want to PS a Stillen wing on there?). $660
Prim@ru (?) $680
Trust $230
Veilside $385

That Kei-Office is looking sweeeeter everytime i see it. Not too low and the rear is nice and flowing with the Z lines. If i had the money now I would get the sides+rears. I already bought the Veilside lip.
2003z,,,ur car is looking better everytime..especially those headlights

Can someone decipher the material codes: FRP, PFRP, CFRP.
I'm guessing fiberglass reinforced plastic, ????, and carbon fiber reinforced plastic?
Can CF be painted? What is the finish like? i.e., will it match the finish of the body or will you see the weave throught the paint?

my veilside just attached with 4 screws that are found under the factory bump, in front of the wheel wells. You can feel them with your hand. But it may be different cause I have the CF version.

pfrp=poly fibegalss reinforced plastic, its like a cross between urethane and fiberglas...CF can be painted, it's laminated, so once its painted you wont even be able to tell it's CF, it will match the finish of the body.

Thanks. Which material is the best for the front lip application? I would assume something that would flex a bit (for the inevitable scrape), such as urethane. So I would think FRP would be a bad idea, and I don't know about CF. But will PFRP flex?

yeah..... I will recommand you to go with PFRP... as they are just like the original plastic... VERY flexible... and it will not crack! I think the C-West lip looks really nice, I have seen the full C-west car in person and it is just SWEET!

My daytona blue stillen front lip spoiler is made of flexible urethane and I'm selling it for $220 shipped at the classified section. Let me know if anyone is interested. I plan on getting the whole bumper but can't decide which one to get.
