Default Condensation anyone? Foggy Headlights?

Sooo.. we've had pretty bad weather in the northeast the last few days and this is the first time I've had this happen, as you can see theres some moisture in my passenger side headlight. This is on the inside and ive had the car for a winter and never seen this happen.

Any Ideas how I can stop it before I go mad? I don't want it to get worse...

Thanks In advanced!

Try leaving your HID's on for about 5 mins.

If that doesn't work (happened to me), take the headlight down, remove the bulb ballast and other little components, and just air it out or take a blow dryer to it. Never came back after that.

yep, sounds like your seals are bad, etc.. drying it out is fine, but it will remain fairly cloudy unless you cook them apart and clean them.. my bet is youd not be into doing that.

front up, both wheels off in a garage w a fan thats dry.

pull fender wells down under headlights and twist off the grey circle plugs..

let it sit a few days of the weekend etc.. reassemble and watch they seal well.

dont drive thru puddles, this likes to happen. I never ahd issues, rode in the rain w my splash guards off ONCE and mine did the same thing.

Look into replacing it since the seal may be gone... or do like me and hit a deer at 60 mph. LOL!

Thanks for the responses guys. The lights on isn't doing it, I commute with them on for an hour and they look the same. The shop option might be a tough one..

driving aroung with the headlights on i notice isn't as effective as just leaving it on. i think its because the headlight are cooled while driving.

I found taking down the bumper, taking the headlights down and removing the cap for an hour with some blow dryer works. never came back after i did this.
