Default Blox Shift ****

So I just recently ordered the Bloxracing 490 shift **** in burning blue. Initially i wanted to order right from Bloxracing, so i placed the order on their website. The next night i got an email saying my order has been placed and the night after that i got an email saying the color was not available, even though it said in stock. I sent them a follow up email which they never got back to me. After doing some searches on the interwebs i found a company called Vexmotorsports who carries Bloxracing shiftknobs. I called them up to see if they had the **** i was looking for and in the same color. I called them around 11am and twice they never answered the phone. Stupid me being on the east coast realized that they probably weren't answering the phone because they weren't in the same time zone . I waited a few hours and gave them a call and sure enough a very helpful man answered the phone. He was very nice and answered all of my questions. I should also add the same **** through Vexmotorsports was like $10-15 cheaper, an incentive aside from the great customer service. I placed the order through him and just a few hours later i got a confirmation emailt that my item shipped. Their company is out in Cali, but it took no more than 5 days including the day i placed the order to receive it. The color of the **** was misleading given the picture on Bloxracings website, however i do still like the color. Having it installed for give or take a week, i noticed the finish is starting to wear a drop in two spots. It almost looks like its scratched however i know for a fact I did not scratch it. Overall i like the **** and will probably do the rubber grommet finishing piece from lowes/homedepot, if not the aluminum finisher from that website (cant think of it off the top of my head). I would not go through Bloxracing if your looking for one of their *****, but would check out Vexmotorsports. Anyhow onto a few pics Lemme know what you think.

Good, its comfortable to grip and i feel, at least for me, its just the right size. The only thing however due to it being made of metal, when sitting in the sun it heats up a good amount. Your still able to touch it to shift, but i like to leave my hand on the shifter when driving around, which i cannot do once it does heat up.

Don't trouble yourself with the extra pix, you just saved me from getting attached to this ****. I can't stand my gfs "chrome" trim on her car heating up. Enjoy tho!
