Talking New Z-Owner that need some help with body kit

Hello,

This is my first Z and I am happy with this car, I just got it Friday, it is a 2003 and is white (pikes peak white) , but if you can help me with my project, first , what I want to do is get a body kit , i am very into the N2 Style body kit, but some are made of fiberglass, polyurethane , duraflex, but what is the difference beside the price? and where can i get it, need a place with good reputation, and I think I am in the right place, here.

Thank you in advance guys

Fiberglass(FRP)is heavier, less forgiving if you bump into something-crack.
Poly(urethane)is flexible, lighter, needs some special paint steps. Most bumpers on cars are made from poly, body shops are familiar how to paint this material.
You can find this style(N2)on line. Many vendors handle.I think its FRP?
There are 100's of body kits available.Ask around before you buy.Have you SEEN one on a Z?Remeber,ALL will need fitting to be installed right. They may say"precise fit".Don't beieve it.Select a shop that has done body kits.
Most times you have to "innovate" a bit to get it right.
Deal with a well know vendorwhen you buy a kit.Not something off e-bay.
Several of the forum major advertisers offer kits. The Z-Store/Motorsports is a good one.All the stuff they have-works.They know Z'S.
Good luck and WELCOME to the forum!

being that you just got your car friday...suggest you take your time and do your research on what would best suit your needs and driving style. If you drive like you dont give a $#!T then spend more money on something that will be more forgiving than fiberglass. If you are very careful then you can chance it will a good quality fiberglass.
