veilside front bumper
hey guys! is getting a veilside front bumper worth it? i have a replica right now but it cracks and the fitting is not that good. is the veilside a lot better in quality? does it fit good and does it crack if you hit bumps? i had my replica repainted months ago and now it cracking again. i don't wanna have it repainted for the third time. i'm thinking of buying the veilside and i need some advice.

Are you talking about a lip or,a full bumper?
If its a lip,the only one for the Z that fits PERFECT is from Mine's.
Snaps right on!
I believe he's talking about the front bumper....anyways, my authentic Veilside lip is a perfect snug fit!!!!
You've only had one lip so how can you make that assumption? My Chargespeed and Top Secret fit perfectly... I'd also like to point out you have an Evo-R(you sell the Mine's stickers for them) not a Mine's. Though Evo-R's fit very nicely and yes they're made in the same place as the Mine's... the Mine's has a better finish. I've owned 2 Evo-R's and I've personally seen an Authentic Mine's... I speak of experience and not assumptions.

i will assure you genuine veilside requires nearly 0% bodywork.
My front end required sciffing painting then installing.. zero leveling or low spots and fit was dead on.
Aside from that , yes it still cracks.. more expensive fiberglass kits are made thinner and are hand laid. they weigh less , but are suseptible to all the normal isses of a low car.
Id leave what youve got.
