Default VIS ChargeSpeed Rear bumper reverse lights issue

Anyone have the VIS charge speed rear bumper? Fitment seems good on almost everything except I cannot for the life of me get these reverse lights to fit correctly? Anyone have any tips.

Actually just got them to fit. You have to sand down the edges that surround the reverse lights for the fins to fit. This allows the reverse lights to fit flush with the bumper

nah, i already know what you mean.

You have to engineer your own method on lots of thier stuff.

I had to cut all the spacer alignment tabs off the lights w a dremel when i had my old VIS kit, and it was a very decent kit from them.. a far cry from what usually comes out of that place.

Get creative, and no, youre not crazy. There just isnt a magic trick youre missing, the kit simply is not like OEM.

Luckily, the back side is invisible, and they dont need to be held in with anything hardcore. Get creative.

EDIT.. see above. this is what happens when i type too much. haha. OP beats me to it.

Thanks BCmann fellow AZ member

That was where the issue was the tabs. What I did was thin the material down where the tabs go past. Once I did it it snapped into place perfecty! There is gap on the outside at all and fits perfect.

I just put on the Nismo v2 VIS bumper along with the charge speed VIS rear. I have to say the Kit is 9/10 fitment wise. The only real pain in the *** problem was the rear taillights. Now if I had to do it again I could get them on in less than 10 mins

I love your car BTW!
