Default 08 350z Progress Pics

Had my 08 Carbon silver 350z for 3 months now and working on the exterior Mods right now. I just spent the last 2 days getting the VIS Nismo v2 Front and VIS Chargespeed fit and ready for paint next week + the ABS eyelids.. Overall for FRP replica kit it was not bad at all. A few little things along the way but it was expected. The fit is around 9.5/10. Not bad at all.

3 weeks ago I also put a set of 19" Genuine Ray's Engineering G-Games wheels with michelin pilot PS2 265/35 front and 285/35 rears.

I will keep you posted on how the paint comes out! Give me some feedback. Oh yea I have not decided what sides I want yet. Any ideas?

It should turn out good, but I don't like the grille located on the rear bumper. It'll stick out like a sore thumb. Reminds me of body kit material from back in the days.

All the Grills are going to be painted black so you cannot see them.

Make sure you shave the lines on the front bumper that are supposed to line up with the 03 to 06 hood. Also toss the eye lids in the trash for best results

Pretty big tires on the front for a 35 series?
Not too keen on the type of eyelids you have.If you are set on having eyelids,I'd go with the ones that are long&narrow--curve with the flow of the
headlight housing. However, think they only come in CF.
Sick rims!

I like it. Makes me want to get that rear bumper. Since you're in Phx, let me know where you get your paint done and how it turns out.

This for sure.
You don't want those lines with that hood.

Since you're shaving lines, might as well fill in the emblem!

Hi,

Its a VIS kit I purchased on Ebay.

As for the eyelids, I am going to paint them body color. Take a look at the pic below so you know the look I am going for.

The paint shop I use is in Gilbert. He does great work. I will post pics when its done! Hopefully the next week or so. I am having the body shop fill in the lines and the holes where the canards were since I don't like that look.

+1 for filled canard holes, lines, and emblem.
I kept my lines though, since I have an 04.
In your case, those lines need to go.

Kit looks real good for Ebay.

Good luck to your painter for matching OEM colors man.
I hope it turns out well.

So I was driving over the weekend and while my girlfriend was in the store getting something I parked in handicap like I always do. Well it turns out the handicap parking spot had one of those cement dividers in it. No other spot had it and I did not see it. All of a sudden Crunch! My brand new bumper was hurt! I get out and look and find a crack in the front and 4 on the sides one was all the way though.

The good part was I did not paint it yet. I had to fill the holes and the lines next the emblem so I was pissed but would of been more pissed if I had painted it.

I have a lot of bodywork esp Fiberglass exp so I took the bumper off repaired all the cracks and missing glass with new fiberglass. I also filled in the canard holes and lines next to the nissan emblem. I also removed the tow hook opening since I did not care for it at all.

I guess it serves me right for parking in handicap!

I am going to paint the front bumper this week. I was going to have the shop do it but I have all the equipment and the color is not bad to match at all. I am actually very meticulous so my work is very hard to duplicate even by a top shop. I just take really long because of how picky I am.
