Default 2006 350z Center cup holder removal

Ok I have a 2006 350z and I'm trying to remove the center cup holder. This is the cup holder that is in the center forward of the arm rest not the door cup holder.

I pulled out the center console on my '08 a few years back during the audio install. There is a large screw on either side of the rear of the console - you can see them if you move the seats forward, down low near the floor. Up front, you need to pull back on the shifter surround to get it out of,the way. The screws holding the front of the console will then be accessible. I don't recall if you need to pull out that rear panel with the glove box, since I had everything out at the time, but if so, that's a lot of trouble just for a light bulb.
