abs plastic sheets
I have a plan to make one of the homemade front splitters such as the arc one only abs plastic 3/8ths thickness and cannot find any in my small town. Tried builders source, 2 plastics factorys and no luck.

McMaster Carr is a great shop to order from:

Or mail order from Amazon?

Awesome. I had run up on amazon but there maximum size is 1 foot by 2 foot from what I have found. Ill Check out McMaster and I figured making one would be fun and easy to replace when this splitter gets scraped up on the underside. Instead of scraping up a 300 dollar apr splitter. I seen where people use plywood (I laughed out loud until I gave it a chance and looked it up to see.) But ABS plastic just seems all around better to me.
have u seen my post on Alumilite?
aluminum sandwiched plastic honeycomb. my undertray is made of this stuff.. easy to cut as well...

you can purchase this in large sheets and its very strong per weight. imho better than ABS plastic.. plus it won't melt since it's underneath the engine/oil pan where there will be significant heat generated.
check it out.
