I have an European 04' 350Z with OEM orange interior:





I've found a new OEM shift **** and the seller claims, that it's color will definately match my interrior color, cause, according to him, EUDM models had only TAN (orange) interrior (no sun burnt orange).

As you can see from the pics, the ****'s and my interior colors looks realy diferent, so i am not sure if it is the same color...

So, could you tell me please, how my interrior color is named (OEM)? if it is also TAN, so i would risk to buy this ****.

they look the same color to me, and im fairly critical.. the factory color is Burnt Orange, there was only 4 options avail, frost ( grey/white), black/graphite, burnt orange, and the Nismo ( red cloth accents on black seats). There is no "tan".
leatehr manufacturer dye lots differ, so will your colors.

also to factor in how he cared for it vs how you care for yours and sun exposure (fading) might affect one or the other more or less.

but they look the same to me as well. might be more noticable in person

I thought there was in fact a JDM tan interior version but I'm not 100%

did it match our burnt orange interior? it's $95 vs $184, pretty big difference. Find it sort of hard to believe Nissan would have a different orange leather for euro interiors...
