I'm canadian and i'm looking to purchase a nismo 350z in the near future as I don' want to keep spending on my 03 track to try and be a nismo 350z. Might as well get a nismo 350z ... lol

Here is my problem. The nismo 350z only came mph and I want to change it to km/h. The jdm nismo cluster seems like the solution but just not sure if it will fit 05+ as it says on rhdjapan only compatible with 03-05 (vq35de only)

has anyone swapped an 03-05 (vq35de) cluster into a 06+ 350z?

is there more then one version of the nismo cluster out (other then a 6mt and 5at version)?

I quickly checked the 2003 350Z FSM (DI-Driver Information section) and the 2006 350Z FSM and compared the connections on the back of the gauge clusters.

Although the 2006 has 2 types of gauge clusters the pin outs, the number of connectors and the size of the connectors in the back of the gauge cluster is identical from the 2003 to 2006.
Even the analog signals, b/w those 2 gauge clusters, required for the speedometer, tach etc.. have same pulse widths and voltage amplitude

So there's a good chance that the Nismo cluster you want works with the 2006+ models as well.

Let me know when you get the Nismo edition, I want to check it out once the KC meets start up again!

Looks like this will be a blind buy for me. Guess ill enjoy it in my 03 track for now then cross fingers when I'm ready to change up the car for the nismo 350z
