Default colored cf hoods

If any of you know who Fiber Images is, they make good quality carbon fiber hoods, fenders, and other products. I had no intention of putting a carbon fiber hood on my silver car, since I like the silver and didn't want to pay to paint the hood.
However, they now have different colored cf hoods!
I'm going to get a hood in January, once the holidays are past and I hopefully will have a Christmas bonus & some tax money back. Might try to see if I can set up a group buy.
Anyway, I was wondering if y'all had seen these colors yet?

you might wanna check out the silver cf in person before buying. the silver cf may not be for everybody. my friend got a silver cf lip for his integ. and it kinda resembled snake-skin. i'm not saying it looks bad or anything, but it wasn't what i expected it to look like.

I have. Those pictures were taken by me. I set the sample on my car. I like it. But I can understand what you're saying.

I have silver CF b pillars and mirror accents (but it's not true CF, it's some sort of special process that gives the appearance of CF but longer lasting and better quality since no weaves have to be made) and I'm happy with how they look.

This is the actual stuff, and it looks great. It almost has a holographic appearance. I've been really impressed with Fiber Images work so far.

One thing to watch out for is if the hood or fender is made of pure CF. Most are just a sheet or two laid over fiberglass. If you want something worth the money, make sure it is solid CF. Also, keep in mind that we have an aluminum hood. If you are expecting to save weight, even with a pure CF hood, don't expect more than just a couple pounds. However, if you are just after the look, go for it.

You guys are lucky with the aluminum hoods. Not to mention 100% correct. If I remember right, it's something like a 2-3 lb. weight savings for the 350Z with a CF hood. So it would be a look thing. For me, I save something like 25 lbs.
Fiber Images does have a website. It's http://www.fiberimages.com
