colors are all off, bumper has horrible fitment, that lip painted on the top looks horrible, and like said before the lines on the lip dont look right and stand out with it painted. have a body shop do this correctly and think " simply clean " oem color match that ishh

by you not being able to line up the bumper after reflector removal...i'd say get a pro to realign the bumper while they are painting the lip for you.

lower and get wheels shortly thereafter.

That lip is very out of place without being lowered and having flush wheels.

It's true, you can have an automotive paint shop can get you your color in an aerosol can. But being a noob, its not gonna come out perfect especially if you're gonna try to two-tone it. Also, urethane parts require extra prep/products to adhere correctly. It's gonna cost you as much as having a shop paint it.

Pull the lip off, bring it into a shop and they'll spray it up. This way you can still drive your car while they are doing the work. And it'll give you time to install spacers and lower your car.

Sorry for replying to this a year later but... I painted it. Here is a picture if anyone cared lol, I thought it came out pretty successful, even if it didn't turn out as glossy as the oem paint. The first time I painted it, it was glossy, but then this one portion had runs so I had to do it all over again. 2nd time wasn't as glossy. Oh well, the experience was fun!

Looks pretty good bro. Got some close ups?

Home paint jobs can be done. Takes some work but its possible.

The key to a good clear coat is:

Spraymaxx 2k (dries Rock hard)
Wet sand smooth with 1k grit paper
Wet sand again with 2k paper
Buff with polishing compound. (I use mcguires ultimate polish)

That technique will get you a clear coat so shiny you can pick your teeth in the reflection.
