how much do you guys think a body shop would charge me? I mean, i'm only willing to leave it in the shop for a couple hours. i mean, i need to get home and go to school and stuff somehow LOL

Just my opinion, but 50/50 plan to leave the front of the lip black, other part body color looks bad.I'd paint the entire lip body color or,leave it all black and add some other black
stuff to your exterior.Too bad its not CF.It appears that you are dead set on doing your own painting no matter what anyone is advising. There are companies on the web that offer spray cans mixed per your color code.I've not seen the results of any of these "mixes" to offer an opinion. You may want to check e'm out.
Again,my opinion, the lip is too aggressive for the way your car looks now.The stock 17"
wheels,no other mods to balance,it just looks out of place to me.

op, stop laughing at your own posts, they arent funny . You laughing is whats funny
You dont know what to do about the gap? Hmm...well , here goes..
line the fastener up correctly over the hat that goes around the screw and tighten. Right is tight, left is lose.
Youll use a screw driver or a 10mm socket and extension.
A screwdriver is what your dad uses to fix mommys light swith.
If you need the socket and extension, ask for parental help while they are supervising you play.
I would worry far more abou that gap and the misaligning and not fastened state of your bumper before getting your lip painted.
And the short answer aside from the limitless yet fully valid value-judgement based statements were are all giving you is NO, you cant use spray cans to look just like the OEM paint.
You will be lucky to get close to color, but it will still look totally different, and IMHO, the lines you want in the same silver dont flow w the lip.. better off as it is by FAR.
Hopefully you can take a joke..
now we shal watch and see...

On my E30, I have used Tower Paint color matched cans numerous times. The result is better than what a lot of body shops could achieve. But it takes skill and a lot of prep work.
But if you don't have any experience, it's probably easier/better to pay the $150 to a bodyshop.
