Glad I found this thread. I was looking for a nismo lip for my '03 but I found out that they are discontinued. Came across the ebay knock-offs, and thanks to you guys, found out that they are complete garbage!
I guess I'll look into getting a real Ings+1 LX sport front lip..

Took me a while, but finally mounted mine. After massaging most of the gaps away, I would give fitment 8/10. Really not that bad considering what I paid for it, 50 bucks.
This is the driver side, wasn't really an issue here, some minor gaps, but worked them in using 3M side moulding tape and it's super flush.
Passenger side, gaps were really noticeable on this side, but worked them in as well using 3M, only issue is the corner, kind of pops out a little.
There still are some gaps in those pics, but I took off the lip since then and remounted it again, and this time around its perfect except the passenger side very corner. Here are some shots far away, sorry for the shtty phone pic quality.

I just bought one of these lips. If you have the lowering springs...the lip will make the car too low. Im going to have to modify mine to fit. But Dang...Marrocco...It looks sick!

-Ebay lip for 49.99+ shipping.
-Get a heat gun (not a hair dryer!) $8 harbor freight tools.
-Go to Auto Zone/Advanced and buy a can of bumper coating(made by Duplicolor), adhesion promoter(spray can, also Duplicolor) and 800 grit sand paper.
-Mount lip with one of the four screws in each side and get it lined up best you can (don't use 3m tape yet). Use heat gun and mold that thing to fit. Take your time and it will be near perfect!
-Remove two screws holding lip and remove.
-Light sand with 800 grit then wipe with alcohol.
-Use adhesion promotor (not the one that came with lip for the 3m tape. The one you bought for the paint) Then paint with bumper coating.
-Let dry then add double sided tape
-Remount lip and bam. Professional looking install!
You do not need to spend your hard earned cash on a 3-$400 lip that is going to get thrashed sooner rather than later anyway if you drive your car everyday. If you are handy in anyway at all you can make this thing fit and make it look good!
If you are looking for a lip to bolt on and have perfect fitment out of the box then don't buy ebay lip. If you want to save hundreds of dollars and easily make it fit in an afternoon......buy it.

Thinking about giving this one a try... I'll probably end up mounting it with the bumper removed so it'll be easier to work with.

u shouldn't need it. looks like rivets. probably jus to make it extra secure by attaching it to the engine splash guard. that's my guess but u really don't need it

i didn't think i did. but I have access to all the tools to do it at my work for only a couple more months before i get out of the marines so i figured it might be worth making it as strong as possible.

nah its not worth it. tape and 2 screws each side is more than enough.i suggest using "u clips" like these to really give the screw something to hold on to.
post pics when done.
