Default Painted eyelids?

I have an 07 San Marino Blue, and was wondering if anybody knew where I could purchase some painted FRP eyelids? The Ebay ones listed are all either silver, black or orange.

Was hoping somebody knew of a more specific vendor, website, etc.

Thanks.

Vendors sell what they sell. Want a different color? Take the eyelids to a paint shop.

Just wanted to see if anyone sells these style lids painted.

If not I actually have a can of SMB paint in the garage from when I did the wiper delete, and I could order a set and paint em myself. Just wanted to see if anyone does a more professional paint job.

yea, mine are from evo-r as well. However, they are cheap plastic, and the paint job isn't that great either. The paint looks like they painted with a brush, many visible paint lines.

Hmm. Well, if I were to paint a set of FRP myself, what would be the best method? Primer, primer, paint, paint, clear I'm guessin?

Many get the AUT style eyelids, I had them for a while, painted at a body shop. Looked good for about month, then they melted/warped.....not sure why. I didn't think the headlights got that hot on the outside...

I'm not a fan and I have seen too many headlights damaged from extended use of the eyelids to ever suggest this mod to anyone.

how could anyone think those look good?

-they make the front end look like an angry frog. WHy would you want your car to have any form of face? Its not an animal, its a car!
-They are obviously an add on, looks like you just taped it on there. Very tacky and cheap looking.
-They will leave marks or uneven wear and tear on your headlights.

But thats just me

I just ordered the same, prepainted from the seller. I hope they last more than a month!

But a friend bought his from ChargeSpeed. They've been on for more than a year now and they have not warped or anything like that.

Problem though is it caused some haze on the headlight cover.
