My passenger headlight is busted after a little fender bender. Insurance wasnt an option. I went to the dealer and they told me it would cost 1000 for a new headlight and 1000 for a new ballast. Thats ridiculous! I need to order one soon but i wanna make sure im on the right path. Its the bixenon light correct? I found this one on amazon. It should work right?

Take a look at the parts catalog at Courtesy Nissan. See if the part number matches:

26026-CF40A

Not certain why you need a ballast. Is it broken?

The one you posted isn't oem, its a replica so who knows how it will hold up/////

 

You can look for a used headlight. How bad of a wreck ? Ballast is probably still good. You can try Paladin Advanced Auto in Vegas, they may have some used parts laying around.

 

Thanks for the replys. Im not 100 percent sure if the ballast does need to be changed, thats just what the dealer had told me. Which was probably bs. Ill check paladin in the morning. thanks!

 

On a whole different note believing that the dealers are full of ****, what if the headlight isnt bad. Maybe just a bulb?? Could it be that easy of a fix? Just an hid D2s bulb?
