Sean, I'll definately invite you for the CF rear diffuser test fit event (hehhe...) as soon as they are here (not sure when).
Please feel free to contact Jay about the updates on the side skirts. I know he is really busy and I'm not sure what stage is he upto on the side skirts. Email or PM him.

wow...im so excited to see the sides...i will be in hong kong from March 8-20th....im really serious about coming down...its not 100% gonna happen..but what would be a good time to come?
nice
heres some more ideas i've been using this website for mine--

just becareful when using a diffuser from another car-
you should try to extend the opening as close as possible to the rear axel and make your measurements from there.
inadvertantly changing the airflow using another car's diffuser might end up making it worse for another car..
the angle from the diffuser as you can see from the side picture is nearly identical to the stock exhaust's curves.. which i am using +/- a few degreees of the curve-

Here a picture of my Drifting RX-7's diffuser from mazdaspeed. Yes, the carbon fiber diffuser I testing on 350Z is from RE Amemiya Pro carbon fiber diffusers. They look really nice on Z. There is enough space for exhaust tips. I have to test it on our Z. HUmm...

OK, no one is saying anything. Is this just a visual mod or does it do something? It looks extremely gross if you ask me, which you didn't. I can understand if it serves some function because I certainly wouldn't install it for form! It seems to completley disrupt any smooth flowing lines of the Z (or any of the cars in the pics linked). Let me know...
