I have had a ballast go bad and am thinking of getting a DDM kit to replace my oem. I will just need find a way to plug my oem ballast holes. If anyone has experience in this area or has an idea please give me some tips.

 

I have had aftermarket HID ballasts in the past and they are very reliable, but that was for my honda accord coupe.
For the Z I stick with Matsushita OEM ballasts.
Just get an extra OEM ballast from ebay or amazon.
You can pick up real good deals there.
