i dont get it. people are trying to reduce the throw, and now people are extending it?

is this for like. drifting?

If I wanted to drive a tractor, I wouldn't have bought a Z.

I loved my tractor shifting in my old Kia Sephia, I had to get used to the 350z, but Now I wouldn't extend it.

Maybe he extended it due to arthritis?

Yeah its a drifting thing.. When you use a short throw shifter, its still a shorter distance to go from 1 to 2 to 3 etc.. These big things bring your hand back very close to the steering wheel so its less distance between wheel and shifter.

Simple geometry. Longer lever equals longer distance traveled.

Nice and in titanium I have an aluminum one from my old 240 first day I bought my Z it went on can't take low short shifter.

Agreed on the longer throw but with a short shifter it might be nice to have the shifter closer to the wheel. Kinda like this...

It extends the shifter so you don't have to reach as far to get to it. Short in another way.
