Default Weird tool kit question...

So, when i got the wrench out, the hooked metal for turning the scissor jack was kind of just jammed in there.

I cannot find where it should go back, does anyone know the correct location for this piece?

Thanks.

It goes in the thing that goes round-and-round converting the rotational energy to horizontal energy moving the contact area up-and-down.

Gah, fair enough, it wasn't a great description

It's part 99613 - ROD-JACK HANDLE.

I'd like to put it in a space for it, if there is one, seems odd there wouldn't be.

^^^^^^^^^And why did you move it? I've had my car for 9 years in June and not one piece of that set has ever come out of the car, except the tow hook when I spun offroad near Fontana at my first ZdayZ, lol.

I didn't say i couldn't remember where i removed it from....

It was jammed under the jack, i removed it from the car because i needed the wheel wrench which is under the jack.

I only quickly accessed it all when i was changing the front discs, i didn't get it all out or check it that thoroughly, so i didn't notice a 'leather' pouch, but i know what you're talking about, i'll have another check.

If anyone else is able to check theirs? where is your jack handle located?

Sure, why not? :P

If people don't know, they don't know, but if they do, it will help me messing round with it when i don't have much time right now.

The jack handle rod, the lug wrench, the tow hook and the locking lug nut key all go into a vinyl pouch. This pouch wedges in the space between the spare tire and the jack in my car.

Edit: the pouch is secured with a built in Velcro strap.

Does anyone have a picture of these spare tool kits in place in the car? In the correct locations? I have searched and this is the closest thread I've found with pertinent information.

I'm still after this. I ordered the wallet, but after seeing a roadster in a dealer, it seems it's only for them. They have a completely different layout in the trunk compared to the coupe.
