Uncovered previous owner's mangling of rear cubby area.....
Just contacted SRQ customs about the down firing cubby hole box I just received. Luckily they will refund me $, minus shipping of course.
Very easy to do talk to and understanding.

Got the lower outer corners that were kind of flapping in the wind welded back up and primered. Didn't take pictures of it primered but at least I got the rust stopped.
Next step is to make 2 L shaped flanges out of fiberglass using the driver side subwoofer metal panel.
These flanges will then be bolted into the car when using the pour foam and tied into the rest of the fiberglass to create a single foam cored fiberglass / subwoofer assembly that bolts into the front bolts holes and rear bolt holes under the strut bar structure.

Some people should have a waiting period for tools ( like they do with guns ), maybe then they'd think about what the hell they're doing!!! What an idiot. I think you could do a classy rear / behind the seat / half-cage... maybe color match with the paint. Either way, it's time for you to get REALLY creative. What a wack job he must be. Good luck.
