Bayside Blue (R34) VS Daytona blue (Z)
I am just curious about the Bayside blue, I know this topic has been covered before but usually its just pictures to compare from.. I just wanted to know if there is any member in here who has acually seen both colors in person and not on the net. It would be even cooler if somone had a picture of both colors side by side in the same light to compare.
My question is.... Is there much of a difference? If someone painted there R34 or 350z the oppisite color would someone notice it, to me they look alittle the same. I have never seen the Bayside blue in person so its hard to compare. I have seen some pics of the bayside it looks like a oriental blue candy color that looks wet all the time but I think its been enhanced in the photos.
Like previously mentioned I did search it and its mostly pics and people giving their opinion on blues, it would be nice to hear from folks who have seen both colors in person.

I've seen a R34 in Bayside blue.There is quite a difference.Daytona is a darker shade.Bayside is brighter.
Some of this has to do that there is more metallic in the Daytona shade.Come to think of it,there was little if any metallic in the Bayside shade.Hate to say it(not being a blue car fan),the Daytona blue color looks very similar to other makes that offer a blue metallic.Bayside is bordering on a French blue that is becoming popular(not quite as light).Jaguar,Mustang among others are doing a French blue.Porsche Cayenne has a
marine blue color that is similar to the Bayside.

Here's a site for paint code reference.

This is Bayside Blue.
In person, it's lighter than DB. Very nice.

Bayside is nicer than Daytona, but not that much so that I would pay for a color swap! I wouldnt paint my car a color somewhat similar to stock color, aside from you and Nissan purist, who would know? I thought about the Bayside Blue for about 4 seconds, before choosing another R34 color...Millenium Jade!
