Default Orange stitched shift boot-opinions?

Not sure how well this would match my burnt orange interior , but any opinions are appreciated. I've installed a sparco x-speed shift ****, and the stock shift boot doesn't fit as well as i'd like it to, plus i'm looking for something with stitching that will match my leather seats.

yes...so you're saying you don't think it matches burnt orange?

anything's better than the stock one w/ a non stock shifter. i'm assuming these can be adapted easily to fit the Z as its a pretty standard shifter setup. even after removing the plastic o-ring, the stock boot is just too large in diameter where the boot meets the shifter. i basically just bunched it up at the top and zip tied it... i'm hoping an aftermarket boot will fit better.

I'm not saying it won't match, but am simply saying that my monitor makes it look more tan in color. My colors are usualy pretty dead on, but now that i look at it again on my work comp, its looking a bit more orange (though its not the best). Looking here, I could see how you might think that it would match.

Thanks very much. I think they look pretty cool, but its impossible to judge colours even if you have a good monitor - you don't know whether the colour reproduction of the original image is any good.

So unless you can get one on a moneyback guarantee, I'd suggest going for the black. IMHO its better to have colours that contrast or are obviously very different shades than something which is almost the same.

I think anything is better than having a vinyl boot when rest of trim is leather - why did they do that?

In the UK, the stock charcoal grey leather has very subtle orange highlights in the perforations, so hopefully I can get one of those black and orange gaiters.

Thanks again.

Cheers
