Key fob programmed to two cars.....
I had a spare key fob laying around so I let my friend have for her Altima. I programmed it for her and it worked, however I notice now that all of my key fobs open her car. This is a bad thing everytime i unlock my car, roll windows down, or pop the trunk her car does it too. Is there are way to reset the keyless entry module?
I've tried reprogramming like 10 times in hopes that it would kick the remote code out of my Z's memory bank.
Do you guys have any other advice before I just take my remote back or take it into the dealer to have the codes erased by their computer?

the z has a maximum fob count of 4. if you try to add a 5th then it will remove the 1st. if you add a 6th then it will remove the 2nd, etc.
My suggestion is to keep adding your good keyfob over and over and see if it kicks the altima keyfob off the list. Should only take 5 minutes to try it out.

Well I visit a few times a week and when I park near her it's a problem I left the other day in +100F and I rolled the windows down and didn't realize her windows rolled down too. Long story short I got a nasty call that night because she thought someone broke into her car.
I tried reprogramming at least 10 diff times with only 1 key fob and they seem to still have the fobs saved. What I don't understand is that I only programmed one of my key fobs to her car yet every single one of mine now work on her car and mine.
