Here's a daytime pic (cloudy). Word of advise, if you have a frost interior and want to match the leather seats I would go for the cream color. If you're trying to match the center console go with a darker grey.

Mine seems to be a little in between both. Oh well, I still like it.

I see whatcha' mean. I'd go with the cream personally. Have it match the seats. After looking at the DIY thread on the hand brake, I'm not sure if I'd upgrade it. Maybe just do the hand brake and shifter boot only.

Sweet ****. That would be one of my choices also. It fits well with the interior theme of the car, being there are alot of non-high polished metal/plastic parts inside the Z.

The infamous TOILET BALLCOCK WASHER. Sanded the bugger to the size and shape I wanted. The extension is a plastic sprinkler tube.

Spent some of my vacation thinking ways to do this. The tube actually tucks into the ****, so the finisher doesn't move and everything stays put.

Been waiting for the **** to be available for the longest time.

With this set-up, the feel of the **** is improved when held in a pistol-grip, since your hand will not rub against the boot. Best feeling **** IMO.

I could get really detailed with a how-to if anybody wants.

edit: Just another pic I posted a couple weeks back posted in the Media forum. Gives a nice close-up of what was done with the ballcock. Nobody noticed then... oh well.

Team Voodoo with black Redline shift boot with orange stiching. I threw a nismo decal on the **** because i didn't like how pointy the spun aluminum **** looked. I think it came out looking pretty good.

Yeah Im really glad I went with Sharifs. I was going to get one of the nismo ones, but I like how you can hold this one both ways. You can comfortably put your hand on top, or on the side. And it looks great.
