do you think the sparco globe will be too short? should i go with a speed or globe?

Honestly the heavier X Speed was great, the only problem was that it loosened. Word of caution it will stay tight in the beginning and the top will have the bad habit of unscrewing, the leather strip comes off and so does the top. I used lock tite to hold them on which worked great, except that the plastic grommet will get stuck inside if you try to force it down to hold right, then it's almost impossible to get out because the top is also, almost impossible to take off with lock tite.
Catch 22, you kinda accept the top will unscrew or you accept the bottom is going to unscrew, and sometimes both! Weee!

Long shot...
I test drove a Brickyard Z many months ago that had a custom shift ****. The owner claimed that it was a custom **** made in a very limited run. It matched the orangish stitching quite nicely. Any ideas?

Voodoo Shift ****
Zeetoyz Shift **** Base Collar
I'm very happy with my setup cost be about 60 bucks for both but I think it looks decent and fits well with the other OEM brushed aluminum pieces in the interior...I like the silver base collar rather than the rubber one .... looks better IMO..... throws are def shorter and it feels solid... In the winter time it tend to get a little cold but again shifting doesn't take more a second .... I love it!

Here's a chart showing two physical properties of the metals:
Material ............ Density [g/cm3] ... Thermal Conductivity [W/m-K]
------------------------------------------------------------------
Al alloy (6063) ......... 2.71 ............ 180
Al alloy (2011) ......... 2.82 ............ 138
Ti (alloy) .............. 4.5 - 5.0 ....... 4.8 - 16.3
Stainless Steel (303) ... 8.03 ............ 16.3
