for some the stock shifters is a pain to get off i would recommend you take it to the dealer like i did. if you got a good relationship with your dealer it should cost too much i think they charged me $15 becuase if they mess it up its not your problem. also the stock shifter is reuseable unless it breaks coming off which ive heard of a few cases that it does because its locked on there and they use a big wrench to get it off. if you want to tak eit off your self just remember to hold or clamo the linkage the part that the knod screw onto beause if it twists around it could mess up your trasmission (mine came off just fine). here is the good news the nismo shifters dont lock back on so you can just twist them back off also the stock shifter doesnt lock back on either so once you initially take it off its pretty easy to just screw and unscrew all the shifters..

no new boot required altiugh be careful not to tear it when taking the **** off.

i had the carbon fiber nismo but when i sold it i put teh stock back on till i got my titanium.

does that help if you got any more just ask ive had three different ***** so i probably can help you out
Thanks for the info... I think I might have the dealer do it, since the car's brand new.

Yes they are. My gloves also have holes for the knuckles. To allow for maximum grip. Put them on everytime I get in the car. Plus it safes the life of the leather on the steering wheel. hint hint hint for those thinking resale.

maybe it was just my car but i was driving on my way to go pick up my short shifter and at a stop light with some strength and a little pain in my wrist, i was able to take the shifter off with no problem. I guess I lucked out with that part.

Now back to the pictures, I want to see more before buying. Does the titanium, not the GT one, come with that little black plastic trim piece?

Im really liking that one but $100....jeesh...

The Momo Carbon Fiber Phantom matches the interior perfectly:

It's actually silver (not white) that matches the brushed aluminum very well. The pics don't do it justice.

There is another Momo **** that is black leather on the shaft, with the head silver. It is also called Phantom.

Check ebay under "momo shift ****"......the one with the silver top is available for about $29 I think. Carbon fiber is closer to $90.
