Origin of Paint Names?
Does anyone here actually know where these names come from? I read a couple times on this forum that my color was supposed to resemble the Super GT cars. It made sense to me since they look similar. So I did some digging on the name Nogaro, which I thought was Japanese, but in fact it's a city in France. Then I found that the Fairlady Z race car won a race at the Nogaro track in 2007. I thought "wow I finally have some proof on the name", except it wasn't a Super GT race, it was a sports car endurance race, and the car was White. So who the hell is naming these paints?

Many of the paints used on the Z are named after famous race circuits or tracks.
Nogaro,Daytona,Silverstone,Interlagos, brickyard(Indy),LeMans ,Pikes Peak are a few that come to mind.Don't think the color of the car in the race has anything to do with it.

Wow you're right. Red is the main color theme of the Nogaro track. So there's no significance with the Super GT cars? I couldn't find what specific color red they were.
