im looking to wrap the small rubber piece you place your arm on as shown in the pic below. i was wondering if anyone has done this and if 3m glue would stick to it? i'd like to wrap it in bride material to match my seats. also does it come off by popping it out or can it come off if i take the entire door panel off?

looking at this, it looks like it may just be clipped on from what i can tell with the circles placed around the door panel

 

I cn't recall how that piece is attached. I looked at some images of the backside of the door panel and can't see any attachment points, so my guess is it is clipped in.

What I can tell you, however, is that 3M Hi-Stregth 90 adhesive will work. I've used it on my headliner, interior b-pillars, and my center console without issue.

 

needs to dry to a tack beofre touching it together as well or it will seep thru the fabric and ruin the material.
Spray both sides evenly, leave to light dry 5 minutes, then adhere w pressure.. it wiould require a stretchable fabric or it wont go around the curve correctly.
The leather covers are stitched.

 

True. That rear rounded corner may present an issue.

 

Word... to the guy with rose tat on his hand. Seeping makes it look like poot. You can get automotive grade spray glue that's meant for interiors. They cost a bit more but is industrial strength. Automotive paint supply stores will have them.

 

i see what you mean by the curve being an issue. i want to use the bride fabric which is the same as my seat is made of. im not sure how much stretch it has to it though to make it work
