Default Need help with a window problem, door "pops" open

I recently bought a 06 touring that had a loose drivers window. It would rattle going down the road and sounded like a tin can when I closed the door.

Today i got on the forum and researched taking the door apart to fix the problem. Inside I found some loose bolts and tightened them, put the door back together and everything seemed great. No wiggle, no tin can sound!
That is until I hooked the buttons back up. Now the door makes a loud metal clink ( inside the door) when the door is closed. Its also hard to close the door and it "pops" open when I pull the handle. Also it doesn't do the 1/2" up/down when the door is opened and closed. It seems as if the window is up too high.

Anyone know how to resolve this problem or what to look for?

Thanks

Thanks, I'll try it .
It seems that the window does lift up properly after the door is closed. It just doesn't drop down properly. If I push it down a little with my hand it does go back up when the door is closed.

Take it to a professional shop. That usually does the trick.
