Front Bumper & Splitter Combos
Yes the V2 with a splitter would be better than a V3 without. V3 with, could possible be even better.
Also look into the M-Works Z, he has a lot of aero on it, and its a very freaking fast car. If possible i would even call Steve up and talk to him, he may be willing to add some inputs to your project.

Another question is what tracks are you guys running and what speeds are you reaching? For some tracks aero is just useless. If I'm running Road Atlanta it is something that helps but at Atlanta Motorsports Park I barely break 100mph LOL
But in my world of everyday interstate driving at 70-90mph,semi's,cross winds etc,my set up holds me on the road.We are not talking LeMans
or the Ring here.Just stuff to keep you glued to the road a little better.
I experienced the "before".After my mods,a world of difference.Nothing better
in my book than personal experiece rather than some guy tellin you what he thinks when he has not actually done it.
You are correct...

On the track they all made a difference on the track. On the street, only the APR wing could be felt.
Next on my car , APR wing , V2 front , race splitter, Nismo sides, rears all along with the bumper tuck.
So far I have daily driven and tracked with the stock Lear spoiler and stillen splitter, Nismo V1 wing with stillen splitter, V1 wing without splitter , APR 300 wing and stock front end and APR wing with Nismo V2 front end.

No one has documented it here so we don't know....also from outside looking in...several teams/drivers aren't running a splitter with the z33 V3/z34 nismo front bumper...
If you get a chance to see a V3 up close it's a two part front bumper. The lower lip is a diffuser. If you need to run a splitter to be part of the cool club. It can be seperated and a 4-8 inch splitter can be bolted between.

What are some of the cheapest places to purchase the V3 front bumper? And also, would it be difficult to make a custom splitter that attaches to the V3 front diffuser?

If weight is a concern and you still want a V3... get a Nismo 380RS bumper. It's essentially a Nismo V3 that's made of FRP rather than poly and is void of reflector holes. Contact BPauto here.
