Again I'm not a fan of the stretch/camber look but I appalled you for pushing the limits and doing it correctly. Taking the time, frustrations and, money to have a proper, modified car.

Maybe a little too much filler used and I really just don't get the hellaflush look. That being said that is awesome! Great idea and I can't wak for the finished result!

its all a very thin layer therefore it shouldnt be a problem. Its extended so far out to make sure that its all smooth coming down to the end.

edit* today's the day i pick it up (i hope). no word from the body shop yesterday so im not sure how yesterday went. im going to check on it after work today. wish me luck and ill have pics posted shortly after

In for results. Takes ***** to let a body shop hack things up like that, and takes $$$$ to make sure it gets done right!

How much does work like this typically cost? I'm thinking about getting mine done.

Just got off the phone with 1488 collision. They said they sprayed it all last night however the bumper reacted weird to the paint and almost absorbed it in one part. he said this morning they came in and sanded it down again and primered it for a second try so we should be good. they are assembling it all now other than the bumper so we should have it done by tonight

the fender work itself was quoted at around 1700 bucks. then paint on top of that.

to have the following done my quote was around 3200 bucks
fender work (40 hrs at $42/hr which he exceeded)
paint rear quarter panels
paint rear bumper
blend paint to doors
paint front bumper

depends really lol. its all metal work, welding, cutting, more welding, etc.. the guy doing mine was considered the shops "custom work" guy whos into bagged trucks and custom rides. you just have to talk to the shop before you actually leave it. they did some work on my friends car before me so I knew they could do metal work but it was still kinda a shot in the dark

3200$ isn't that bad. I was quoted 2-2500$ for almost same fender work plus front bumper and lip painted, and 4-4500$ for the same as above plus the whole car respray from autoexplosion

Good work on the rear and I can't wait to see the finished result. Quotes you are hearing and seeing look correct to me. Its more work than a lot of people thing and then to have it done proper with the paint being blended into the adjacent panels to have a better over all look to it. I use to do custom body work and paint and had my friends asking all the time to do stuff for them for next to nothing cost wise. Most don't realize how much work goes into it.

Waiting to see some pics

Thanks,
Dallin
