interior door handles

Has anyone here removed thier interior door handles. I want to paint the silver rings but can't figure out how to get them off. Is this even possible?

of course it's possible! tho I'm not entirely sure how. gotta remove the panel first as the bolts/spring are inside. this guide will help with getting the panel off. https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance...dow-motor.html
