Default Front Lip Setup for Bad Roads?

I have a 06 ppw touring with stock body and i want a lip kit. Iv looked at nearly every style available. I live in Oklahoma in a town that has some pretty terrible roads, can anyone suggest a lip style/brand that will give me some good cosmetics but not lower my car to ground, if that makes sense. I want to keep as much clearance from the road as possible, my suspension/springs are stock to give you a idea of how i currently sit. I dont want crap ebay products but at the same time if it is a highly rated replica, that would be fine with me. I did search this topic before hand with no luck.

Thanks

All lips are gonna decrease your road clearance. Some more than others.Depending on the design of the lip,the ends are the parts that are the lowest to the road. Its good to
hear that you are not going the 99 buck e-bay route.Whats your budget? Are you interested in a lip that will be painted your body color or,CF?What color is your car?
There are problems from time to time on getting a good color match.I'd look at
a Mine's lip(CF).Its very conservative in road clearance.Also,its a excellent fit.Very quick install.Check my vehicle pics.I have one.See if you like the design.They curretly
run $559 shipped.

My first reaction was to agree with JCITY's assessment, but thinking more about it I might recommend the Aerosync N1 front bumper (replica of the Nismo V1). It is a low bumper, but it has two things going for it: 1) It's made of a very durable polyurethane material which will not shatter when (not if) something hits it, and 2) the molded lip on it does not protrude as far out from the bumper at the front center section as do the Mine's or similar VeilSide V1 front lips. Meanwhile the Aerosync does protrude farther out from the front bumper on the sides when compared to the Mine's/VeilSide lips.

Unfortunately there are not many polyurethane front lip options for the 06-08 front bumpers. If you think you can avoid steep inclines, the Mine's or VeilSide lip might be the winner.

ive had 2 polyurethane lips from ebay however they were both lost in the line of duty from being low. they are cheap enough to replace though and they will take a beating

here is my buddy running the same one from ebay on his z before he sold it to give you an idea of how it looks/sits at stock height

just a heads up though, make sure you secure down the middle part if you did run that lip here was a pic maybe 10 minutes before i lost my first one (the second time). i didnt realize it sagged in the middle as wind caught it

All front lips are going to limit your ground clearance. If you think the lip is going to get thrashed fairly quickly, eBay lips might not be a bad option. If you want something higher quality I'd probably say Mines.

IMO - it'll be worthless to put a lip/body kit on without lowering the car first. It won't do any good to add all that rolling on stock (4x4) suspension. You don't have to be hellaflush dump... race car low is perfect.

What I learned over the years is: drop before wheels --> wheels before kit... in that order if you want to achieve that "good cosmetic" look.

EDIT: roads here in Houston aren't any better.

You're better off looking for a front bumper than a lip if you're worried about daily driving and damaging it

Something else to keep in mind is that even if you go with one of the ~$99 eBay lips, every time the lip take a big impact there is possibility of damage to the paint on your front bumper where the lip contacts it. So it turns into a ~$500 problem regardless once you start looking at getting your bumper repainted occasionally.
