Default Dr. Colorchip pictures

Hey guys. I got my 03 enthusiast a few months ago and I came to the conclusion that the previous owner liked to go offroading behind a dualie due to the insane road rash on the front bumper. I was contemplating whether or not I should just buy a new front bumper or try and touch it up. Since Colorchip wouldn't be a huge loss if it didn't work ($50) I decided to try it. I have a few pictures of both before and after and I am decently happy with the results. The chips are obvious and visible from up close, but if your just a typical passer-by you wouldn't notice it nearly as much. I've only done one layer for the chips on my bumper and I plan on doing it again in the next couple days or so to really make it look better. Since I haven't found any one here that has posted good pictures of before and after, I decided that I would be the first!! Let me know what you guys think

After. Remember this appliance doesn't fill in the chips, it just paints them. From here they're a lot less noticeable. From further it looks tons better

If you plan on modding your car, this will be a good chance to start with a V2 bumper or
other aftermarket options. Otherwise, get it painted proffessionally

That looks awesome for 50 bucks. Very good results, I may try it out once I get more chips

Whatever you can do to extend the life of the current paint is encouraged. A new $500 repaint is going to get eaten up quickly, and they tend to add up with this particular car.

I've used this stuff and it's the BEST kit out there. The color match was PERFECT (Nogaro Red) and it blends in like no other touch up on the market.
I highly recommend this kit.
Just go to their web site for more info.

Looks good!
I may give it a try.
I've not seen how this "appliance" works.
I do know that the OEM touch up paint is not a
perfect match for the car.I usually have to mix
other colors(I have a silverstone, mix in some silver to lighten)
to get a better match.In addition,areas like bumpers&spoilers
may not be exactly the same as the body. The OP was
fortunate to have a black car.Its easy to match. It would be
interesting to see how a more complex color like PPW,with pearl
undertones would come out?

Looks like the front bumpers been repainted before. I would've saved the 50 towards a complete repaint or something else.

I got a perfect match. They take the factory color code and match it just like a body shop does. Mine matched perfectly and it was the special Nogaro Red (A41) of the 2008 model.

whoever repainted your front bumper did a horrible job, all that orange peel and the texture on the center lip.

Metallic paints are much more difficult to match and dual stage paints, Nogaro Red is single and non metallic.

I can only comment on my personal experience with my car. They have the ability to match all factory colors.

I have seen this kit used on several vehicles, everyone seems to be happy with the results! If you're thinking about buying it, just go for it
