That looks great, how much work is involved and what was the total cost?

"luggage" compartment? I thought it was called a glovebox?

Not trying to bust your ballz but you probably won't get much luggage in there.

Cool idea though.

Please provide a list of part numbers and comments on what is involved.
Do you need to do any cutting or driling?

What about matching lock?

Thanks!

It's used for everything but luggage and gloves, how about a Zaino compartment

I did the same thing, It was very easy, you just need some pliers and a dowel to install the second door onto the front molding.

Hey Spydr, did you get it rekeyed? and if you did, how much?

Seems to be one of the most practical things you can do for $200.

Hey Spydr, what kind of seats are those in your car? Can we get some pics of the seats? I like the handle up there that allows you to access the back.

Here you go, I bought the parts this week, minus the door:

84987-CD000 TRAY-REAR LIST 29.57
84965-CD000 BRACKET-LU LIST 23.08
84975-CD000 BOX-LUGGAG LIST 112.92

The door comes attached to the rear cover piece and lists for 140,
so I passed on it, I'll use the non-bose cover. I just needed an extra glove box to mount a 2nd amp.

I there a DIY thread for this? If not there should be. Can someone who's interested please take some pictures and do a write-up so that those of us who want to do this quickly and with visual aides can have a thread to seek guidance from...
