Default Custom Sequential Turn signals *finally!*

Aloha from Hawaii,
I finally got around to finishing my sequential LED turn signal with LED reverse lights. Most people simply just put in LED bulbs but i always try to do things differently with each car i get. Anyhow everything is completely plug and plug and it came out pretty good. There are 3 rows of LED's. The top and bottom row are turn signals while the middle is the reverse light.

Gay? Creative? Awesome? Tacky? let me know, i always like to get feedback to make newer better things.

Also for those of you looking to do LED bulb changes. Theres a lot of space to mount resistors and there are some existing holes that you can use to mount them too FYI. See pics.

Also, in regards to taking off the rear bumper, there are 5 plastic clips right in the middle. Some other thread said you have to tug hard to get it off but you actually simply use a flat head from the top and you can pry the clips up through a notch on the clips. Another FYI.

Im not familiar with posting vids so if its not working please let me know. its posted on flickr, heres the link. Link for vid as i dont know how to directly post here.

I'd like them from 20 feet away. I wish the LEDs blended in so you wouldn't see them when they weren't lit...

But great work none the less!

That certainly would catch my attention on the street, but would not be for me. I'm sure many people on here would pay to have it done.

Thanks for the comments. I couldnt think of any other way to make the leds NOT so visible as far as when they are not lit.
The sequential part of the lights took forever to wire up and thought it would be unique. Ill try post some night vid as soon as the sun goes down.

FliPPER_Z has been doing this for years. Would like to see a vid of yours, though.

As said before, I don't think I'd do it unless there was some sort of way to blend the unlit LED's with the housings better, BUT this is an awesome idea, and a great start to something that could get better with time. I always loved these in the Mustang world.

Hey I think it looks great. I think you should tint your signals so you don't see the LEDs until they light up. Can't really tell how bright the lights are so if you use this use discretion, the darker the tint the more light it blocks.

Functional looks like it works great! Not my taste but I applaud you doing something yourself and doing it nicely.

LOL its actually straight but the lens itself is diffused so when you look at it at different angles it doesnt look straight.
