Been working on modifying a v2, taking forever.
Sold the cw front to pyshin and he destroyed it less than a week later. lol Haven't seen pics of your car with the shorty yet.

Will the V2 have enough support with those center braces cut out?

I've thought of doing this as well, love the V2 but hate those cross bars...just would love to see an open space, some depth, and then a grill in the back of that space for a clean and mean look.

Also, when do you think you'll have that on the car? I'm drooling dude...you gotta tell me when the drooling will stop...

I've seen several people with it cut out. Looks good but a bit empty for my taste. I'm redoing it with different vents. Designing and then executing is the tough part.

Thanks for the info.

When you say designing new "vents" what do you mean?

I may be able to help with designing the open area, as I plan on doing this project as well this year, but I don't quite follow what "vents" you're referring to in the open area as the only thing removed are some support bars and no vents?

What are you trying to design into that space?

I agree..I think it would look a little empty just wide open by itself, but I've got a couple of ideas for some classy accenting.

Hey what material is that you're using by the way...to build the venting angular stealth bomberdizzle effect I mean.

And what glue if you don't mind my asking...or is that a bonding putty I imagine?

That's really going to look nice...I'd put some grill work behind it and make a color accent happen in the two slim spaces at the outside perimeters of the opening.

I have quite a bit planned, just a lot of work. You can just about use anything that will hold the shape you want before fiberglassing. Cardboard, eps insulation foam, etc.

For now, just the OE front and back on 19s.
